Role Playing (RPG) Games explained

Role-playing games (RPG for short) are games where players dive into a specific character and play as if they are that character. Wearing gear, making decisions, performing missions, arguing, and acting a specific behaviour for that character.
In more formal role playing games there is a framework of rules and guidelines that every action in the game is measured upon. Specific sub-genres of role-playing games are Multi-User Dungeons (MUDs) and Massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs).
