Primarily text-based but using appropriate graphics, background music and even browser-based text-to-speech audio, BrowserQuests is a single-player, persistent world, responsive browser-based RPG that is free to everyone, automatically tracks all player and game statistics, and currently offers well over ten hours of interactive game play (with more "modules" to come).
